Storm Damaged Home in South Daytona

The volumes of rain water from the tropical storm severely damaged the carpeted surface and the back wall of this room in a South Daytona house. Demolition of the drywall and discarding of the floor material were the required first steps for the repair and restoration. Shown are many air movers and a desiccant dehumidifier to remove the lingering water vapor from the air. After several days, the moisture content of the elements in the room were all within standard percentages. Our SERVPRO technicians' rapid water removal efforts helped to save the built-in wall unit.
